Doing some accounting for an Open Source conference – thought I ought to use open source software. I have tried sql-ledger but did not like the problems with reporting. I have installed your application but have forgotten the username and for the life of me I can’t seem to get a fresh start uninstalling and installing the application.

I installed the application on Windows XP using jedit. Any help to start fresh or to delete the database would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Kin,
To start fresh, simply go to your user directory which is in XP c:\Documents and Settings\(username)\ and delete the directory called “.jedit”. Then reboot your computer. The reason you need to reboot is to make sure that jEdit is shutdown. Then start jEdit. THEN PLEASE DO NOT ENTER ANY PASSWORD OR USERNAME when asked. If you read the instructions it says to leave this empty. The username and password is only for those who feel the need for extra security.
