Lazy8Ledger has just gotten a new member in it’s family called “Lazy8Web.” This all new program is the web version of Lazy8Ledger.  What is new is that it is multi-user and server based so that any web browser can be used to access it.  You can now get at your accounting from any computer that is connected to internet. One immediate advantage is that you and your accountant or customers (if you are an accountant) can work on the same book-keeping and even at the same time if desired.  No need to try to export or import from different databases because now everything is available simultaneously to everyone.

You still can enjoy the simplicity of Lazy8Ledger but the power of a server environment.  Users will immeditatly recognize the simple workflow of Lazy8Web from their previous experience with Lazy8Ledger.

Lazy8 Ledger 2.24 release

Now we have finally made a new release of Lazy8 Ledger.  The only major thing prior-users will notice is the account summary report has the incomming and outgoing values shown for each account.

But the major new thing with this release is that it is now compatible with OpenJDK.  Before Lazy8 Ledger was only compatible with Sun-Java but now it will work with OpenJDK which is the standard Java in Linux distributions. See the details of the release here.

For a little bit of nostalgia, click on the picture below to see how bad it really was…
